Fin Whale

The most commonly seen whale on Jeffrey's
Ledge, the Fin Whale is the second largest animal to have ever lived on
the planet. The only larger animal is the Blue Whale. Fin Whales are massive
animals and are surprisingly graceful given how large they are. They are
known as the "greyhounds of the sea" for their speed. All photos were taken
on the Granite State Whale Watch
